Core Values:

SERVANTHOOD

According to the Bible, Servanthood is the act of following Jesus by serving others with humility and loveJesus taught His disciples to wash one another’s feet as a symbol of servanthood (John 13:1-38). Servanthood is not a popular topic today because many people regard it as beneath them, but God wants us to see ourselves as living sacrificesServanthood is the way to the will and purpose of God in our lives.

  • Disciple of Christ

Philippians 2:7 (ESV): “But emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.”

Luke 22:27 (ESV): “For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves.”

  • Denial of Self

Mark 9:35 (ESV): Jesus said, “If anyone would be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”

Matthew 20:25-28 (ESV): Jesus taught that greatness comes from serving others, not seeking authority or power.

  • Demonstration of Christianity—fruitfulness

Colossians 3:17 (ESV): “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

1 Peter 2:16 (ESV): “Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.”

STEWARDSHIP

According to the Bible, Stewardship is the practice of selflessly managing everything we have for God’s glory and the betterment of His creation. It is based on the belief that God created everything and entrusted us with the responsibility to care for His creation. Stewardship involves using our talents, time, money, relationships, health, and other resources wisely and gratefully.

SHARING THROUGH CARING

According to the Bible, the concept of sharing through caring can be traced back to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians are called to share with family members first, then to others, hen even with their enemies, living a life of generosity in the process. Sharing and giving to others should be done out of love, and not out of pressure or with a bad heartOur caring and sharing are powerful ways the Lord influences those around us.
